Bronte Bliss
Outdoors and location photography is dynamic, fun and challenges you to think on your feet and react to the environment which changes throughout the day. I love this spontaneous approach to photography and much prefer it to studio work.
Creating content is a team activity and I work with clients to give them what they need and also make a lot of suggestions on what might also be effective for them. For example, a recent client, Alexis, knew that she wanted images that were distinctly Australian, that had a very “Sydney” feel to them, and after reviewing our location portfolio we settled on Bronte as it has a gorgeous beach, ocean pool and the light is stunning which appealed to Alexis as her home state of Utah, USA is landlocked. I personally love to shoot at Bronte pool for its rich colours and great visual versatility.
In this post you can see the ways in which we were able to create many different looks from the one location and build a dynamic local inspired portfolio but also some extra imagery that would work internationally.
The other perks of working in Bronte are the local coffee shops and of course Iggy's Bread.
